Introduction. In addition to good biological properties, biomaterials should also possess appropriate physical properties in order provide stability and longevity at the place of application. The aim this work was evaluate an experimental nanostructured material based on calcium aluminate (CAL) silicate (CS). Material method. research used synthesized by hydrothermal solgel method from individual components (CaO?Al2O3), calcite (CaCO3) barium sulfate (BaSO4) as X-ray contrast agent prepared placed plastic molds with a diameter 5 ? 0.1 mm height 2 mm. After setting time, materials were left incubator 37?C for 24 hours, then they removed mold absorption solubility calculated. MTA (Angelus Londrina, Brazil) control material. Conclusion. aluminate-based significantly higher compared (CS) MTA.
